I'm a city girl.  And we all know or have heard of the cramped quarters, horror story lifestyle of most New Yorkers.  Although I must be honest, I was pretty lucky to have some really nice apartments with great amenities and space.  Well maybe not lucky...I definitely paid the price to be comfortable.  But that's another story for another time.

However, whether you have a ton of space or not, I think it's a cool idea to use your clothes and accessories to decorate your living space.  You might not have enough storage and you don't want to get rid of your belongings just yet.  Or maybe you have really nice pieces that you would rather have on display where they can be appreciated and not tucked away.

I've found that there are some really clever ways to incorporate your wardrobe into your home decor.  Such as a pair of shoes on a bookshelf, a jeweled minaudiere on your coffee table, or a clothing rack lined with printed rain coats and a fun color story of cocktail dresses.
